me

Hi, I’m Kyle. I solve problems with computers, and I lead other people who also solve problems with their computers. I went to Georgia Tech for Computer Science. While going to college, I started my career as a full-stack developer in Atlanta. Later I moved up to the New York area to do Technology Infrastructure automation. Then I missed GT so much I went back a second time for an MS in Information Security while I was working in NY. Since then, I’ve been building, managing, and leading large scale FinTech infrastructure and software systems. Lately I’m doing all kinds of things with infrastructure and AI.

I’ve been meaning to put this site up for 15 years, and here I am in 2026 finally getting around to it. I’ll post some blog posts and some docs / notes about things I’ve done and systems I’ve set up related to my homelab, or other thoughts I have. Most content – if not all – will be technology-related, with some thoughts on leadership sprinkled in.

This site was originally drafted in Pelican many years ago, then more recently in Material for Mkdocs, and then I ported that design and features finally to Hugo. I published an initial empty draft of the Pelican site back in 2017. Then I converted it to material-mkdocs but never published. Now here we are with Hugo; finally.

You can email me at my first name at this domain name. But I’ll warn you I don’t really read email in real time.
